It’s weeks that I have been busy writing a report on the performance-based seismic vulnerability evaluation of masonry buildings as a part of my research project. As I am using the Incremental Dynamic Analysis method for the seismic assessments in my work, I am now facing a huge amount of information that I am trying to deal with: summarizing the IDA curves, developing the fragility curves, calculating the mean annual frequency of exceeding different performance levels, etc. I need to say that doing each part has taught me a great deal of knowledge on the dynamic analysis of masonry buildings using the Applied Element Method.

I will write about each section in my future posts and hopefully I will be able to share more information about the results as soon as the paper is ready for publication.
